Our objective Advancing the Status of Women Worldwide Through Service and Advocacy is to be implemented with the help of good governance. Credibility, reliability and visibility are of utmost importance for our work. Being active in various fields increases Zonta's visibility.

Education and Leadership

  • Amelia Earhart Fellowship Fund for Women
    30 Fellowships of US$10,000 awarded annually to women pursuing Ph.D./doctoral degrees in aerospace-related sciences or aerospace-related engineering

  • Jane M. Klausman Fund for Women in Business
    32 district scholarships of US$2,000, and six international scholarships of US$8,000 each awarded annually to outstanding women, enrolled from the second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a Master’s program

  • Young Women in Public Affairs Fund
     32 district awards of US$1,500, and 10 international awards of US$4,000 each assigned to Women, ages 16-19 on 1 April each year, who demonstrate to be leaders in service.

  • Women in Technology (new-from 2019) 32 district awards of US$2,000, and six international awards ofUS$8,000 each assigned to Women pursuing a degree in IT who demonstrate outstanding potential.

  • Ending Child Marriage: a program to accelerate global action (UNFPA and UNICEF USA - 12 countries)

Special program for 2018-2020 biennium to honor our 100th year of service

  • Centennial Anniversary Grants up to $ 5,000 each will be available to like-minded charities who partner with a Zonta Club in the biennium on specific local service projects in favor of women, up to a total of $ 300,000 (Projects subject to evaluation by ZI).
